Multimedia e-Learning Object-Oriented Database System.
PGL is collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support its research agenda. At UF, the Office of Academic Technologies, faculty from the Department of Computer Sciences and Engineering, the Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), the College of Education, and the Departments of Anesthesiology, and Psychology have formulated a distributed e-learning system development agenda with consulting support from IBM. This agenda includes an ontology based system for storing and retrieving reusable learning objects in a web service system-based architectural design. See:
