Welcome to the PGL Module on Online Instructional Design
This PGL module will help you transform your educational materials into
effective e-learning activities. Principles of instructional design for
the World Wide Web will be introduced along with the common tools for
building e-learning activities. Once you have completed this module, you
will be able to design
your own e-learning module and supervise
its construction by a web implementer. You will know the PGL criteria
for a well-constructed module, and you will learn the PGL Development
Process.
This module includes four sections: Overview and Technical Directions;
Description and Examples of PGL Modules; PGL Development Process (9 lessons);
and Resources.
In each step of the PGL Development Process, you will find information,
activities and exercises. By the end of this training, you will have created
a plan, in the workbook that accompanies this CD, to design your module.
